For what it is, it does a very good job of receiving UHF television signals, but I didn't realize the number of stations transmitting DTV on VHF frequencies. The antenna was easy to mount, came with very good hardware, was well constructed, but does not receive VHF signals well at all (it's not designed to).
If you are going to get an antenna to receive over the air television you probably will want an antenna that can receive VHF and UHF signals, not just the UHF signals that this will pull in.
